Key Responsibilities:

• Presents healthy, low-carbon options to customers designing and constructing single family &
multifamily buildings
• Inputs and maintains database of customer information, leads, and projects
• Performs initial start-up and balancing of Zehnder ComfoAir Ventilation Systems
• Performs inspection and maintenance of Zehnder ComfoAir Ventilation Systems
• Asist client project development by providing coordination with company engineering department in
application and quote process.
• Research and provide accurate information to customers regarding proper materials and prices as well
as technical information regarding application and specifications
• Generates orders and quotes, assisting customers in-person, over the phone, or by email

We are seeking an energetic new team member with a passion for developing, evaluating, demonstrating, and overcoming barriers to the effective market deployment of new energy efficiency, decarbonization, and grid-flexibility technologies in buildings. Responsibilities for this position encompass developing, conducting, and managing energy efficiency projects with a focus on the following technical areas:
Developing and analyzing proposed Title 24 energy code improvements,
Securing stakeholder support for proposed Title 24 code changes,
Navigating the California regulatory processes for Title 24 and reach code implementation,
Supporting federal, state, and local efforts to enhance building energy codes, and
Performing or overseeing building energy modeling activities in support of code change proposals,
The candidate will organize and manage project activities and contribute to technical reports for clients and stakeholders. The candidate will contribute to collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, partners, and the broader energy efficiency and building science technical community. The candidate may identify new strategic areas for Frontier and contribute to proposals for new work. In addition, more experienced candidates will provide leadership, planning, and authorship in the activities described above, and may provide supervision of more junior personnel.
The position requires familiarity with the Title 24, Part 6 energy code, building energy efficiency measures, grid-responsive technologies, decarbonization, and renewable energy. Other valuable technical skills include energy modeling, data analysis, scripting, analysis of large data sets, and statistical analysis.
The is a full-time position in an office environment in Davis, California. The ideal candidate would be based in the Davis, California area, although for the right candidate, remote work from other locations will be considered.
