The Computer Science Department at Harvey Mudd College (HMC) has multiple tenure-track openings for assistant professors commencing July 1, 2023. Candidates in all areas of computer science will be considered; candidates demonstrating interest and potential for teaching courses in the area of computer systems are especially encouraged to apply.

Among the department’s strengths are its success in recruiting women (who comprise about half of both our faculty and our majors) to computer science, an innovative and rigorous curriculum that prepares students for both employment and graduate school, and an active research program that involves a substantial number of undergraduates.
