This position is a f... ull-time (40 hours) salaried, hybrid, benefited position. Assistant Program manager will be expected to reside in reasonable proximity to Vermont and be willing to travel throughout the state when requested.

Job Description:
A Vancro Integrated Interpreting Services Assistant Program Manager’s job is to be one of the primary points of contact for Vancro interfacing between the Deaf community, Interpreters and the hearing
customers of Interpreting services.

Assistant Program Managers are involved in the scheduling and
confirming of assignments as well as troubleshooting issues with the Deaf users and interpreters.

The VIIS Assistant Program Manager will also be responsible for managing the videophone and calls from Deaf Community members, requestors and interpreters and supporting the Lead Program manager as requested. It is important for a VIIS Assistant Program Manager to understand the ASL interpreting profession including its importance in the Deaf community as well as the Deaf community of Vermont and surrounding areas.

Attention to detail, prioritization, and task management are qualities that make a Program Manager successful in their position.
