The Team Supervisor (TS) is a management position, responsible for the direct supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and oversight of day to day operations of assigned homes.
The TS holds primary responsibility for site based compliance to PA Office of Developmental Programs’ regulations, Administrative Entity (AE) requirements and implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs), and Merakey policies and standards.
The Team Supervisor assumes the onsite leadership role in assuming the health, safety and contentment of the individual’s service.
Additionally, this position is responsible to supervise, support and discipline DSPs as necessary. TS’s are expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment in achieving objectives. Work will be reviewed by the supervisor (Program Specialist or Administrator) through regularly scheduled and informal meetings and evaluation reports.
This position will also be split and work half of the time in ratio with individualsMerakey supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the enhancement of their abilities and interests. Services are aimed at partnering with individuals as they become self-sufficient and live everyday lives. Merakey focuses on helping individuals find meaningful roles in their community and to feel valued as community members. Individuals are always at the core of the planning and implementation of services.
