This position primarily works remotely, and as needed in the office. Work hours are Monday-Friday between 8:00am-4:30pm. Occasional travel is required based on project needs.
Major duties include, but are not limited to: • Oversee, develop, and implement resources, processes, and strategies used by Local Workforce Investment Boards (LWIB) / Local Workforce Innovation Areas (LWIA), respective Economic Development Regions, and partners for implementing and integrating workforce and career development web/mobile applications in day-to-day work. • Work with programming staff to design and implement online resources and processes to support a high level of local integration and implementation including supporting local partner expansion and online reporting. • Oversee reporting and evaluation related to integration and training. • Develop and provide presentations as needed including board meetings, regional and statewide conferences, and webinars. • Provide training for online tools/courses including the Certified Illinois workNet Advisor Course, annual refresher course, and other modules/units related to workforce development. • Supervise staff and consultants including customer service position(s), clerical assistant(s), and others as needed. • Work with the Statewide Content Manager to implement workforce partner resources and assure that workforce and career development web/mobile applications meet the needs of LWIBs, LWIAs, and their customers. • Work with advisory groups, partner agencies, and organizations for program development and interface a variety of resources and information.
