Sexual Assault Case Coordinator
Idaho Legal Aid
Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc. (ILAS) is seeking applicants for a newly created Sexual Assault Case Coordinator position. This position could be located out of ILAS’s Boise, Coeur d’Alene, or Lewiston regional office. This is a temporary position (2 years) which may be extended to permanent if funding allows. The goal of this position is to improve civil legal services for survivors of sexual assault across Idaho by engaging in outreach, education, and case support. Activities will include: 1) coordinating with key community partners; 2) scheduling, marketing, and conducting outreach presentations; 3) generating outreach and education materials; 4) assisting sexual assault survivors with accessing ILAS’s legal services; and 5) providing case support for attorneys representing sexual assault survivors.

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. Staff are eligible to participate in a telecommuting program after three months at ILAS. The person hired for this position must have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or have at least 2 years’ experience working with sexual assault survivors. Extra consideration will be given to applicants with a history of public service, social work, paralegal skills, or fluency in Spanish. The starting salary for this position is $42,000, with annual raises. Excellent benefits including life, health, dental, and disability insurance.
