Prepares and produces food items in accordance with assigned duty and station expectations.

Must be able to operate all kitchen equipment including slicer, mixer, microwave, smoker, fryer, broiler, salamander, robot coupe, alto-sham, ovens, steamer, steam kettle, and dish machine.

Must know basic culinary knowledge including sauté, frying, baking, broiling, roasting, braising, soups, sauces, steaming, poaching, and smoking.

Notifies Chef or Sous Chef of products that are getting low

Assists Sous Chef and all other employees in the proper cleanliness of the kitchen areas

Assists with the daily preparation needs of all menus and banquets

May assist Sous Chef in the proper rotation and storage of foods delivered each day

Preference: Should possess a broad knowledge of the preparation and presentation of cold and hot foods of all kinds.

Preference: Should have a demonstrated talent for food presentation and styling.

Right now, this is taking about 12 hours per week for an untrained HR person, so I would expect 8 to 10 hours per week for a trained HR person. We use JustWorks as our PEO and they automate a lot of this for us, but there are still a lot of employees with questions that need to be answered and day to day things to do.
