Lift Maintenance Manager
Mt. Bachelor Serves as an ambassador of Mt. Bachelor as part of the management team.
Oversees the preventative and daily operative maintenance of all lifts, tow ropes and carpets. ... Leads the team of lift mechanics and works closely with the management team to ensure a seamless operation.
Essential Functions:
Daily administration and maintenance on all Mt Bachelor ski lifts.
Assure that all maintenance required by manufacturers, regulatory agencies, insurance carriers or as deemed necessary by personal experience is completed and documented in a timely manner.
Daily administration, supervision and motivation of Lift Maintenance staff.
Communicate to staff all pertinent company policies, philosophies, and all appropriate information from upper management.
Recruit, hire, train and motivate a staff of sufficient size and expertise to satisfy the needs of Lift Maintenance, Lift Electronics and Lift Construction.
Assist in Lift Operations training.
Ensure Lift Maintenance staff complies with company uniform and appearance standards, as well as all other company policies.
Formulate yearly Lift Maintenance budget proposals for staff and equipment as necessary.
Control actual expenditures within approved budget.
Assist in capital budgets as required.
Develop effective and innovative departmental operations particularly in the areas of scheduling, record keeping, documentation, and training.
Maintain proficiency in Lift and Electrical maintenance skills and awareness of the latest developments in methodology or technology relating to aerial tramways.
Assist in communication with all outside regulatory agencies that pertain to Lift Maintenance and operations. Conduct all lift inspections as necessary. Supervise all lift construction and major modifications.

Essential Functions

Works alongside the Lodge Manager team to ensure that all culinary expectations delivered upon by entire culinary team.

Develops a defined food program with set standards.
Supports the Director of Food and Beverage with strategic and future planning as it relates to the F&B division in the areas of capital expansion, business planning and the creative and conceptual development of new F&B experience.
