Assistant or Associate Professor, Assessment in Health and Physical Education
The Health and Physical Education program seeks candidates with a demonstrated expertise in curriculum, instructional assessment, to teach health and physical education foundation and pedagogy courses. Candidates will be encouraged to collaborate across colleges, disciplines, and communities, to positively impact and develop local, regional, national and global PK-20 health and physical education professionals focused on promoting quality, accessible, comprehensive physical activity programming, necessary to eliminate health disparities, and to improve the health and well-being of all people.
Gender/Equity, foundations of social justice education

• Teach daytime or evening undergraduate courses depending on faculty interest/exp... ertise and branch needs in one or more of the following areas: First Year Seminar, Critical Thinking/Perspectives, Multicultural Education, or Gender Equity.
• Teach evening graduate courses depending on faculty interest/expertise and branch needs in one or more of the following areas: Gender Equity or Foundations of Social Justice Education.
• Engage in scholarly activities; develop and sustain an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications.
• Develop and coordinate undergraduate and graduate programs, including the promotion, marketing, and recruitment for the Masters of Education, Behavioral Science Gender Equity Studies Program.
• Direct, advise, and chair master’s thesis projects.
• Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students.
