Supervisory experience preferred. Starting salary range: $69,076 - $88,616 DOQ + excellent benefits. $2,000 relocation allowance and first two months' rent provided up to $1,000 per month.

The Campus Transportation Planner is responsible for the comprehensive planning for and stewardship of University transportation network and associated infrastructure. The position is responsible for directing the articulation of and improvements to the transportation network. The Campus Transportation Planner is a leader who guides the University through the highly dynamic and ever-changing nature within the broad field of transportation and builds upon the legacy of sustainable transportation at UC Davis.
The Campus Transportation Planner is part of the Campus Planning office, a small group of planners, urban designers and landscapes architects, which is part of a larger unit called Campus Planning and Environmental Stewardship (CPES) which includes the Arboretum and Public Garden (encompassing the Arboretum, the Putah Creek Riparian Reserve, and Grounds and Landscape Services), the Sustainability office, the Environmental Planning office, and Transportation Services. As a unit, CPES combines planning objectives with daily operations to integrate resiliency into our every stewardship practice and ensure the outdoor environments of campus are safe, welcoming and vibrant. The Campus Transportation Planner brings technical expertise around sustainable and equitable mobility systems to colleagues with colleagues in CPES, across campus and throughout the greater community.
The Planning and Engagement Manager (PEM) is a senior-level bike/walk professional who works to spark a new m... obility discourse that shifts transportation decision-making and funding in Georgia. The PEM oversees local and statewide planning projects, stakeholder involvement, and analysis; increases modal shares; provides an expert voice, educates, and shares information; and assists the Executive Director by supporting the growth of both Georgia Bikes and our statewide bike/walk communities. The PEM is a highly responsible self-starter, has advanced technical skills, writes flawlessly, and has experience incorporating equity into planning projects. Funded through 2/25/2025; carryover is likely.
WHO WE ARE Georgia Bikes improves bicycling and walking conditions and promotes bicycling and walking statewide. We interact with all levels of government, support local advocates, work toward common goals with partners, provide safety education, host an annual summit, act as a clearinghouse, and speak on behalf of safe, equitable, and accessible biking and walking.

Annual salary range $45,000 - $55,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits are competitive and include health/dental/vision coverage (employer pays 75% of premium), paid time off, retirement, and wellness benefit.

The role requires initiative and decisiveness combined with flexibility and a capacity to give and receive feedback graciously.
