Recreation Resource Planner - Coming Soon

Within the Bureau of Parks & Conservation, Recreation Resources Division -

Coordinates/facilitates the implementation of Tennessee’s SCORP - Vision 2030-Tennesseans Outdoors.

Leads and facilitates the statewide Tennessee Recreation Advisory Committee (TRAC) and their various sub-committees that assist in implementing the SCORP and other special projects.

Will work to establish and develop a framework for local strategic planning services that can be implemented for cities/counties by the Recreation Resources team and PARTAS consultants.

Participate in and lead RRD’s metrics and goal planning for all bureau and department-wide planning processes, including the division’s strategic plan.

Will work with Tennessee State Parks staff, within the parameters that are established, to guide and assist with the implementation of the systemwide comprehensive strategic plan - already in progress and to be completed by summer of 2023.
