This position reports to the Department Chief of Operations and will be a 10-hour or 14-hour shift, 0700 -1700 or 17:00-07:00 hours with shifts scheduled throughout the week. Applicants must be a New Hampshire licensed EMT (EMT-A or Paramedic preferred), Pro Board certified firefighter (Pro Board Firefighter level 2 or higher preferred). This position is responsible for fire suppression, EMS services, Fire Prevention and some personnel training.

The Finance Administrator is responsible for all aspects of the Town’s financials including tracking, internal controls of the fiscal records, financial systems of the Town (AccuFund), budget development, cash management, and supervision of the Finance Officer. Working Foreman Facilities

The Town of Barrington, NH (9,326) is seeking a Working Facilities Manager to assume responsibility for its nine buildings across four sites.

The Working Facilities Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of facility maintenance (including preventative), building mechanics, custodial maintenance, and repair tasks to Town facilities and equipment. Additionally, the Working Facilities Manager will supervise custodial staff and oversees activities of outside facilities contractors. May need to respond to on-demand calls for service. The Working Facilities Manger will be part of the Highway Department’s winter maintenance team with responsibility for plowing, snow blowing, and shoveling at multiple facilities.

Senior Hydropower Engineer

Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of design experience and a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer
Lead the design, management, and growth of our hydropower engineering department
Ability to coordinate with design team, clients, and local/state/federal agencies
Strong design skills and reputation in the hydroelectric power market for dams and hydropower services
Familiarity with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) processes and other federal, state, and municipal permitting requirements
Approved by the FERC as an Independent Consultant to perform safety inspections on dams and hydroelectric power facilities
Occasional site visits and travel are required
Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, flexibility, willingness to learn, desire to advance, and enjoy being a part of a dynamic and energetic team!
