Snowmaking Manager

Bogus Basin offers 2600 acres of skiable terrain, along with Idahos only mountain coaster, the Basin Gravity Park for downhill mountain biking winter and summer tubing, Nordic skiing and miles of hiking and cross country mountain bike trails.
The Snowmaking Manager leads the snowmaking team at Bogus Basin. Responsible for the production of man-made snow on over 75 acres of snowmaking trails. Snowmaking ensures consistent opening dates on snowmaking trails with or without natural snowfall. The snowmaking system is comprised of a 45 AF snowmaking pond, 3000 GPM pumphouse and 48 fan guns. Along with consistent opening dates snowmaking provides adequate snow coverage for grooming throughout the season and late season coverage for quality skiing and snowboarding conditions.

This role serves as an ambassador of Mt. Bachelor as part of the management team. They will oversee the preventative and daily operative maintenance of all lifts, tow ropes, and carpets. They will also lead \the team of lift mechanics and works closely with the management team to ensure a seamless operation.
