The Impact & Data Coordinator is responsible for leading, coordinating, and advancing all aspects of program data collection and management, program evaluation, and program reporting for government and foundation grants received by AWS. In day-to-day operations, the Impact & Data Coordinator interfaces with program staff as well as finance and fund development staff.

Domestic Violence Homelessness Response Advocate
Asian Women’s Shelter
The Domestic Violence Homelessness Response Advocate is responsible for survivor-centered advocacy and economic empowerment programming with survivors of domestic violence (DV) during the application process for COVID-related Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV) in San Francisco, and for case management with EHV holders to locate, transition into, and maintain stable housing and safety. The role involves EHV application support, DV advocacy, housing location (identifying and securing appropriate housing for survivors), economic empowerment programming (supporting financial literacy, income generation, skills building and job searches), and collaboration with other advocates and entities.

Development Manager
Oakland Asian Cultural Center
The Development Manager (DM) is responsible for generating OACC’s contributed income by designing, executing, and managing fundraising strategies, including the grant procurement program, Annual Giving campaigns, individual giving and special events. Overall, the DM will also assist in OACC’s earned income to maximize revenues through relationship development. The position reports directly to the Executive Director, and will represent OACC in the community, while promoting the organization’s mission, vision and core values.

The State Organizer will lead coalition organizing to build power and advance priority campaigns at the state level. To this end, the State Organizer will organize and persuade people to take action towards our state campaign priorities. This work involves both working directly with coalition member organizations, as well as digital organizing to reach a broader mass base about our work. Civic Engagement Project Lead

APEN seeks to hire an experienced civic engagement project team lead to participate in APEN’s civic engagement programs. This is a temporary part-time, non exempt position and will report to the Oakland Local Political Coordinator. The Community Organizer plays a crucial role in organizing low-income Chinese immigrants, developing their leadership to engage in advocacy, campaign, and electoral actions, and providing interpretation and translation to make these processes accessible to monolingual members. The position reports to the Oakland Lead Organizer and works with other organizers across teams, to integrate bold and authentic Asian immigrant and refugee leadership throughout the organization.
