Center for Community Resources Butler County is looking for a compassionate Certified Peer Specialist to work alongside client and community supports. The Certified Peer Specialist will have office space at the CCR Butler, South Main Office.

Qualifications: Certified Completion of a Peer Specialist Certification training curriculum approved by the Department of Public Welfare.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Maintained at least 12 months successful full-time or part-time paid or voluntary work OR obtained at least 24 credit hours of post-secondary education. Applicant must identify themselves as a mental health consumer and/or in substance abuse recovery as defined in the Medical Assistance Handbook.

Requirements: Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
