Systems Programmer/Developer

Develop or modify technical programs and reports to address client needs. Create test plans and work with end users to fully test software, enhancements and reports. Implement solutions into production, adhering to all change management procedures and guidelines. Ensure security and data integrity best practices are implemented.
Diagnose production issues; participate in maintaining purchased systems, College reports, ETL processes, and client data. Provides cross-functional and after hours support as required. Support will be offered via email, phone, remote assistance, and in person.
Create technical, process, and user documentation to support enhancements or new software. Participate in development activities to understand and learn new technologies and tools. Assist with security planning and management for applications. Provide data management support and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of college functional processes.
Collect client requirements and define specifications for new applications, enhancements, and system reports. Ensure all requests are documented and managed in the ticketing system, in accordance with current service standards and service level agreements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
