Chief Operating Officer Opportunity

As a member of our Executive team, the COO is responsible for overseeing service delivery across all programs, which includes taking the lead in the planning, directing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness and fidelity of all Wellpoint client-facing activities. The incumbent must be able to operationalize best practices in program management using an equity and inclusion lens in collaboration with teams and functional areas, to ensure strong organizational performance to meet ambitious goals. This position ensures a case management and clinical care environment that continuously provides safe, effective care which meets all regulatory requirements. At Glow Services, LLC. We believe that each youth can be inspired today and become the leaders of tomorrow. We take pride in assisting with the development and transition with our youth into adulthood. To provide the best support for youth, we understand that it is important to have great leadership and coaching for all employees. You will report directly to the Family Support Specialist Supervisor and you also receive support from Family Support Specialist Team Lead.

Description of Role:
Mentors are required to have weekly contact with assigned youth. Engage in activities outside of the home to help expose youth to new opportunities and experiences. It is important for a mentor to be consistent and have a "never give up" attitude when working with youth. Mentors are model for a healthy, trusting relationship through clear communication and setting appropriate boundaries.

Responsibilities of Role:
-Attend all GLOW meetings (All Staff and Supervision)
-Understand and fulfill the strategies listed on referrals and Plan of Cares.
-Attend any meetings pertaining to your assigned youth or communicate updates to the team if you are unable to attend.
-Maintain confidentiality of participants by using what you learn in HIPAA training.
-You are a mandated reporter, report concerns immediately and complete necessary documentation.
-Clear communication with the family, Care Coordinator and Glow Services Management.
-Be mindful of your own biases. Utilize what you learn in Cultural Humility training when it comes to differences of culture, economical, religious,and sexual backgrounds.
-Respond to participants who may be dysregulated with verbal de-escalation.
-Use a trauma informed lens.

Qualifications:
-At least 2 years of experience working with youth or related fields.
-Valid driver’s license and car insurance (full coverage with $100/300 limits).
