Part-Time Accounting Manager
Women Lead Change
Position Summary: The Accounting Manager, based out of the Cedar Rapids WLC headquarters office, is
responsible for the essential duties and responsibilities defined below, and provides support to the broader
organization as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this position, other duties may be required and/or assigned.
● Create the annual budget for approval by CEO and the full Board.
● Create, and maintain monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure accuracy.
● Review financial projections for reasonable assumptions and make recommendations to the CEO,
if necessary, based on the projections
● Assist audit firm with annual tax filings to ensure the filings are timely, accurate and complete
● Meet quarterly with audit & finance committee
● Create annual tax filings to ensure the filings are timely and complete.
● Select an external auditor and be the staff lead on audit.
● Oversee reviews of the organization’s accounting controls.
● Reconcile bank accounts monthly
● Prepare monthly and annually journal entries
● Prepare and file 1099-Misc forms annually with IRS

Quad Cities Program Coordinator

Position Summary: The Quad Cities Program Coordinator is responsible for the essential duties and responsibilities below, and provides organizational support to staff and the broader organization as required. This person is mission-driven, organized, highly talented in sponsor
development and works independently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this position. Other duties may be required and assigned.
● Sponsor Relationships Management: Responsible for cultivation and maintenance of
sponsor relationships and achieving annual sponsorship goals.
● Program Oversight: Working with steering committees, staff and other volunteers to
oversee and develop high quality programs in the region such as special events, regional
conferences, Corridor Women Connect, and other affiliates.
● Events Management: Work with Event Coordinator to plan and execute events, including
luncheons, socials, workshops, and more.
● Brand Ambassador: Act as WLC liaison between organization leadership, affiliates and
external interests to offer input on opportunities to best market regional events and
organization.
● Endorsement/Steering Committee Relations: Primary point of contact to ensure positive
relationship with the Committee. Identify and expand leadership and volunteer bases.
● Promotes a team concept by being respectful, inclusive, helpful and supportive.
● Complies with all WLC policies and procedures.

de Novo is seeking a community relationship director to assist the company in growing its profile across the upper Midwest. This position requires a candidate who:
• Has connections and experience in community, workforce and economic development communications
• Is also comfortable working with industry and business leaders
• Sets goals with CEO for opportunities, connections, and projected new and expanded business, and works to meet those goals
• Can open doors and start the discussion around how communities or the organizations/industries that serve them can succeed in today’s environment
• Sees and can articulate the value in cohesive communications stemming from brand to community initiatives
• Can make a compelling case for de Novo’s services
• Can work collaboratively with both the CEO and the rest of the team to ensure that the projects we do embark on are meeting clients' needs
• Works collaboratively with CEO and account team to expand conversations, relationships and close business and look for strategic partnerships
• Can write RFP’s when needed, in collaboration with CEO, copywriting team
• Willing to meet with communities and CDO’s and to record elements of the conversation in CRM until it’s time to bring in the wider team (in person and virtual mix)
• Willing to travel to the Cedar Rapids office or other locations as needed for team meetings and project kick-offs
• Helps develop success stories of current and past projects in order to showcase our approach
• Help the CEO and team connect with new clients and communities and seek opportunities to participate as a subject matter expert
• Has an “always be helping” mentality (versus “always be closing.”)
