Degree Audit Specialist
New York University The Degree Audit Specialist/Analyst is expected to have thorough understanding of the student life cycle and specialized understanding of degree requirements, program/ curriculum governance, and the system maintenance associated with these academic functions for all schools of NYU. Specialists serve as an information resource to the larger University for Office of the Registrar policy and procedure for student academic records, graduation processing, degree requirements (and related governance).
With supervision from Assistant Registrar and Senior Specialists, this position is responsible for the maintenance of student records in University systems, including: academic standing and progress, transfer/test credit, graduation checkout, and building and maintaining degree programs and requirements (general education, majors, minors, concentrations, etc.).
This position will train other staff and school users in University policy and procedure, as well as utilization of Academic Advisement, Academic Planner, and degree checkout functionality in PeopleSoft.
Data Governance Coordinator
University of Maine System This position works closely with all members of the UMS system-wide Data Governance Program, as well as additional personnel within the UMS:IT and institutional research offices across the UMS. The DGC investigates and analyzes data consistency and policy issues that aid UMS functional areas, internal and external reporting, and UMS administrators’ decision support. The DGC documents and crafts recommendations on those data consistency and policy issues. The DGC collaborates with stakeholder offices across the UMS to better understand business processes and university data in order to recommend consistent and strategic coding and data standards.

Assistant University Registrar for Compliance and Student Athlete Eligibility

Part of the Enrollment Division, UREG advances the university’s teaching mission by maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and security of student academic records. It also advances the institution’s commitment to Inclusive Excellence by continuously considering the impact of its work with students and their families, especially those from marginalized communities, and by attentively listening and responding to their needs. UREG is responsible for monitoring and certifying student athlete eligibility to ensure compliance with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and University of Virginia by-laws, rules, regulations, and policies that apply to continuing student-athletes. This position serves on a team of professionals who support the development, flourishing, and achievements of student athletes, working closely and collaboratively with the schools, Student Financial Services, Athletics Academic Support, Athletics Compliance, the faculty athletics representative, and the SA Eligibility Team in UREG. The Assistant University Registrar for Compliance and SA Eligibility serves as a School Certifying Official and manages the operational aspects of student athlete eligibility in UREG, providing leadership and strategic guidance. They supervise and collaborate with a UREG colleague who both serves as a School Certifying Official for SA Eligibility and supports credentialing services in UREG. The Assistant University Registrar serves on UREG’s compliance oversight team and contributes to compliance initiatives and activities beyond student athlete eligibility. The successful candidate will have knowledge of university registrar functions and NCAA Rules.
Degree Audit Analyst
University of Virginia The Office of the University Registrar (UREG) seeks applications for a Degree Audit Analyst to become part of the Enrollment Division. Reporting to the Associate Director for Degree Audit Technologies, the primary responsibility of the Degree Audit Analyst will be to assist with the implementation and maintenance of the University’s degree audit software, Stellic. The Degree Audit Analyst will assess and redesign existing business processes related to academic records, contribute to the smooth operation of academic record processes in UREG and the schools, and implement related process improvements in the degree audit tool. Part of the Degree Audit team in UREG, they will work closely with the SIS Student Records, Academic Advising, and Campus Community teams and stakeholders in the schools, departments, and administrative units.
