The Financial Analyst position at Teck’s Red Dog Operations in Anchorage involves budgeting, forecasting, and planning, as well as preparation and reporting of financial information for financial analysis, cost control, counseling, and advice to management. The role also includes maintaining cost reporting systems, developing financial costing and internal control systems, and assisting with the preparation of annual financial plans and forecasts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting, a CPA, CMA, or CA designation, and at least two years of increasing accounting responsibility including cost accounting, preferably with mining experience. The applicant should also be proficient in MS Office Suite and Windows environment, with advanced abilities in MS Excel, have strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
