CRTEC Program Coordinator
UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center
The UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center (UVACCC) seeks a program coordinator to facilitate and support education, training, and mentorship activities. This position will provide assistance to the Associate Director for CRTEC to achieve the education mission of the center. This position is critical to UVACCC’s National Cancer Institute designation.

This position is responsible for assisting the Associate Director for CRTEC in overseeing, developing, and integrating the UVACCC’s training, mentoring and education initiatives into programmatic efforts in accordance with National Cancer Institute requirements. Providing programmatic and administrative support for the activities of CRTEC includes:
· Serve as a liaison between the UVACCC and all trainees and mentors to initiate, develop, and advocate an outstanding trainee experience.
· Work with the Associate Director for CRTEC to create a pipeline program that will facilitate the submission of education/training/career development grants (e.g., F and K awards) by individual trainees and junior faculty as well as institutional awards (e.g., T32, R25, and P20 awards).
· Establish and monitor formalized mentoring and career development programs for trainees at all levels (grant-writing workshops)
· Create metrics, collect and disseminate data as it relates to cancer education and training (metrics of success include publications, coursework, funding history, outreach activities and career outcomes)
· Formally assess the effectiveness of the education, training, and mentoring experiences in the UVACCC.
· Coordinate the UVACCC trainee fellowship and travel award program.
· Manage the STRIVE-C summer program
DEI Program Coordinator

The UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center (UVACCC) is one of just 53 in the nation to hold that designation by the National Cancer Institute, and the only one in Virginia. The mission of the UVACCC is to reduce the burden of cancer for the patients of today, through skilled, integrated, and compassionate care and to eliminate the threat of cancer for the patients of tomorrow, through research and education in an environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The DEI Program Coordinator supports the Associate Director for DEI in duties that include but are not limited to:
· Develop and facilitating DEI related trainings, programs, seminars, and presentations
· Co-develop and manage a database to document the impact of DEI initiatives and activities
· Assist with quarterly reviews of activities and compiling of progress reports
· Assist with tracking progress and return on investment of DEI-related pilot and developmental funding awarded to program members
· Assist with managing the Cancer Center’s 5-year strategic plan to ensure the program remains aligned with the strategies and tactics mapped out in the plan
· Develop presentations, documents, and reports as requested by the AD for DEI
· Assist with the preparations of DEI-specific materials required for grant applications an materials, external and internal meetings, and other materials as requested by the AD for DEI
· Perform data analysis and evaluation
· Foster and maintain effective partnerships with DEI offices across the heath system and university
· Assist and engage in the day-to-day advance of the Plan to Enhance Diversity
· Assist with recruitment activities of trainees and faculty
· Perform other duties as assigned
Reporting to the Associate Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the DEI Program Coordinator indirectly reports to the Director of Research Administration and Strategic Planning.

Associate Director, Cancer Center Administration

The Associate Director, Cancer Center Administration is a member of the Cancer Center Leadership Team (CCLT) and is responsible for the administrative oversight of Cancer Center strategic planning, management, and evaluation. Massey Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Manager/ Assistant Director Quality Assurance and Compliance will report into the Senior Director Clinical Operations and Management of the Massey Cancer Center (MCC), Clinical Trials Office (CTO) with a dotted line report into the Associate Director for Clinical Research and may have up to two additional auditors in the Quality Assurance and Compliance Unit. Associate Director, SCCC Clinical Research Office

The Associate Director of Clinical Research Office (CRO) Administration at the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center serves as a leader in the Center with the primary responsibility of high quality, safe and compliant conduct of oncology clinical trials throughout the SCCC. This position involves oversight of a 120+ person clinical research office and will report to the Director of SCCC Clinical Research Operations.

As a key component of an NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, the CRO oversees the submission and conduct of more than 400 active clinical trails averaging more than 1000 clinical trial enrollments per year. We proudly support diversity initiatives among staff, and we prioritize diversity and inclusion in clinical trial enrollment with nearly 40% of our patients enrolled representing racial and ethnic minorities. Fundamental priorities of this individual will be to execute the priorities of the Cancer Center Support Grant and the SCCC Director as it relates to clinical trials and the operation.
