Peds IPC Assistant Professor Professor

We are seeking applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Pediatric Psychologist. This is an Assistant Professor level position that will support Doernbecher Children’s Hospital which is Oregon’s top-ranked children’s hospital and part of the region’s only academic medical center. IPC Pediatric Psychologist/Faculty (2 openings)
University of Virginia School of Medicine
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking two (2) full-time faculty psychologists in the Section of Pediatric Psychology, Integrated Primary Care to provide integrated behavioral health services in general pediatrics. Rank, track and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with psychologists and pediatricians across three (3) pediatric and one (1) adolescent medicine primary care clinics to develop a robust integrated primary care program
• Screening and assessment for mental health concerns in the primary care setting
• Conducting brief, targeted behavioral health interventions in the primary care setting
• Providing consultation to medical and interprofessional teams
• Teaching medical fellows, residents, and medical students
• Participation in departmental and health system committees

Behavioral Health Consultant
The Pediatric Center
We are seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) to join our team! Our pediatric primary care practice is relational, supportive, and enjoys a good laugh. The Pediatric Center is conveniently located between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. and our community is frequently cited for its quality of life, diversity, and excellent schools. The BHC will provide brief behavioral and cognitive-behavioral interventions for both mental and physical health conditions and assist with specialty mental health referrals as needed. Common reasons for referral include stress/anxiety, mood concerns, somatic symptoms, sleep difficulty, behavior management needs, toileting or feeding questions, and most other common childhood concerns. The BHC will be available for same-day consults (warm hand-offs), pre-scheduled appointments, and curbside consultation with other team members. The position also offers exciting opportunities to contribute to program development (patient education materials, practice protocols, groups, and/or psychoeducational workshops), based on practice needs and the BHC’s interests and expertise.

Qualified applicants are independently licensed in Maryland as a psychologist, social worker, or counselor. Experience treating patients and their families from early childhood through adolescence using behavioral and cognitive-behavioral interventions along with exposure therapy is essential. The individual in this position must be a self-starter, a flexible team player, and possess interest in treating a wide range of presenting concerns. Experience using brief interventions in a medical setting is preferred.

Pediatric Psychologist
Howard County Pediatrics
Howard County Pediatrics, a private primary care practice serving central Maryland for 37 years, is pleased to announce a position opening for a full-time Pediatric Psychologist. The psychologist will work collaboratively with our ten medical providers to provide assessment and interventions to youth age 0-21y and their families. The Psychologist will receive referrals for a variety of concerns such as anxiety and depression; medical adherence difficulties; sleep, toileting, or feeding/eating issues; somatic symptoms; tantrums and disruptive disorders; BFRBs; ADHD; and OCD. The behavioral health model utilizes short-term, evidence-based, and lifestyle medicine interventions. The psychologist will also provide education for medical providers and staff. The position offers exciting opportunities to contribute to and initiate new programs, based on the Pediatric Psychologist’s interests and expertise.

Qualifications/Required Experience:
• Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program
• Licensed (or license-eligible) as a Psychologist in the State of Maryland
• Experience collaborating closely with medical providers and other team members, treating youth from early childhood through adolescence, and providing brief interventions. Skills and experience with CBT approaches, exposure, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation.

Bilingual Psychologist - Integrated Primary Care

Full time position open in the Healthy Minds Healthy Kids (HMHK) integrated primary care program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Provider will be integrated in CHOP’s South Philadelphia Care Network practice, the most linguistically diverse practice in our network, with a high percentage of Spanish speaking families. Along with 6 bilingual PCPs, CHOP South Philadelphia focuses on refugee and immigrant health, and is a vibrant training clinic for medical residents, psychology residents, and psychiatry fellows. The psychologist will have opportunities to participate in training and supervision of interns, as well as to contribute to clinical research, QI, and program development.
