Assistant Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Tenure Track)
California Lutheran University
The Assistant Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a critical role in a growing and ambitious program. The selected candidate will be a linchpin of the Center, serving as its representative and ambassador among faculty of all disciplines.

The successful candidate will bring a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to the position but be sensitive to the unique challenges of growing a community-focused program from within a university. This position requires a full teaching load and is expected to play a key role in shaping graduate and undergraduate curricula that are innovative and exemplary. We expect this candidate to share our belief that experience outside the classroom is an essential element of an innovation and entrepreneurship education.

The Steven Dorfman Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship offers many of the programs of much larger universities, including an award-winning coworking space (Hub101), New Venture Fair, grants for local startups, scholarships for entrepreneurial students, and much more. We offer an I&E emphasis for business majors and an I&E minor for all students. We also offer an Enterprise I&E emphasis for MBA students and teach I&E in Cal Lutheran's Executive MBA programs in the USA and Europe.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possession of a Ph.D. in Business or Entrepreneurship, or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from an accredited institution. ABD will be accepted, but will come in at the rank of Instructor.
