Stoughton Public Schools Stoughton Public Schools seeks a highly qualified Middle School ELE teacher to join our committed ELE department in serving our schools’ multilingual student population. The Midd... le School ELE teacher will coordinate ELE services and provide direct ESL instruction to students. She will develop English language proficiency goals that are clear and measurable and track student progress. She will also be responsible for administering state mandated EL screening assessments and the annual WIDA ACCESS exam for ELs. The role also includes coordinating redesignation of ELs, monitoring FEL (former English Learner) students, and keeping EL records in accordance with DESE guidance. As a critical member of the instructional team, the ELE teacher will work in collaboration with general education and content teachers and share best practices to ensure high quality sheltered English instruction.
