Project Manager III /SR. PM

Project Manager III serves as the central point of contact and management for client projects and internal initiatives.  The position interfaces with all areas and stakeholders of the project, including end users (including company executives), distributors, and vendors.  To succeed in this role, they must be able to blend technical competence with the ability to effectively manage several large high-priority projects concurrently under the general direction of the Program Manager. Our client projects move quickly and require technical system knowledge to effectively understand and control the project scope, gauge appropriate level of effort, and plan adequate quality assurance. This includes coordinating Zuri project resources (consultants, business analysts, developers, etc.) and the client team to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to meet client expectations. 

Job responsibilities often include elements outside of a typical project management role, and can extend into functional or technical consulting, business analysis, best practice use of fundraising technology, and QA. The successful project manager is energized by the diversity of the role and welcomes the opportunity to explore these areas.

The Philanthropy Associate performs a critical role on Northwestern Memorial Foundation’s (NMF) fundraising team. They are responsible for working with NMF managers, directors, vice presidents and other NMF team members to administer and coordinate activities and initiatives, completing projects as assigned.

NMF raises funds to support the health system’s strategic goals to deliver exceptional care and experience, advance and extend medical science and knowledge and enhance people, culture and resources through: (1) raising planned, principal and major gifts, (2) cultivating and stewarding donors, and (3) fostering a culture of philanthropy at NMHC.

Responsibilities


Lead the strategy, fundraising, marketing, communication and execution for a portfolio of fundraising and/or donor relations events to support philanthropic priorities.
Cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of current and prospective corporate and individual donors.
Recruit, secure and manage event host and/or fundraising committee members including effectively communicating the roles and expectations, creating meeting agendas, securing meeting rooms, taking minutes, and sending post-meeting summaries.
Track and report event metrics, post-event analyses and key performance indicators.
Maintain event budgets in accordance with the strategic event team’s goals and objectives, while keeping the event fresh and exciting year after year.
Oversee event logistics in partnership with the Northwestern Memorial HealthCare events team. This includes event timeline, mailing list, vendor selection, décor, design, production of collateral and volunteer needs and recruitment.
