Position Overview

YWCA seeks a compelling and committed Grant Writer for our growing Development Team. In this position, you will write bold proposals that distill complex work into convincing narratives. With courage and compassion, the Grant Writer will be on a mission to position YWCA as the go-to thought partner in impactful service and building community resilience.

Wage Range: 65,000 – 75,000

As the Community Philanthropy Senior Developer - Individual Giving, you will contribute to the organization’s success through relationship development and resource mobilization, engaging complex and high-impact individual supporters to meet Community Philanthropy and Oregon Food Bank’s goals and strategic priorities. This position reports to the Community Philanthropy Manager - Individual Giving with primary duties focused on relationship management with individuals, project management, and mentorship of individual giving colleagues.
The Community Philanthropy Senior Developer - Individual Giving can perform their duties onsite with dedicated desk space within an Oregon Food Bank facility, or predominantly working from a home office while maintaining a regular in-person presence with supporters in the community and periodically-required visits to OFB facilities.
