Midwest Renewable Energy Association The Site Assistant is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and development of the facility, equipment, vehicles, and grounds of the MREA main office and property in Custer, Wisconsin. The property consists of an office building, training building, storage shed, multiple training and demonstration systems as well as 65 acres of property, which includes 40 acres of seasonal campsites. The site has active solar electric, wind, and solar thermal installations that provide heat and power to the facility and that also serve for training and demonstration.
In addition, the Site Assistant works closely with the Site Manager and the events staff to prepare and manage the site for The 32nd Annual Energy Fair, including permitting coordination, rentals, and campground preparation, as well as Move Some Earth Day and Brisk Fall Clean Up Day. The Site Assistant also works with the MREA training team to ensure that tools, equipment, and transportation are maintained and organized as appropriate and works proactively to ensure the campus is safe for all training and events.
Solar Installer Crew Leader
Full Spectrum Solar Crew Leaders work closely with our Operations Manager, Electricians, and Project Managers to plan, coordinate, and execute a project installation. Crew Leaders manage a small crew of solar installers where they delegate tasks to maximize efficiency, provide quality control of the team’s work, and are responsible for the maintenance and allocation of the tools and materials needed to execute each project. Crew Leaders set an example for safety, attention to detail, and organization while they proactively develop crewmembers by setting them up for success and encouraging them to grow their skills.
Utility Solar - Vegetation Management Site Leader
Quercus Land Stewardship Services The Vegetation Management Site Leader will be responsible for performing land stewardship work at solar fields and/or other energy company properties throughout Wisconsin. Each Site Leader will be assigned to a newly established utility-scale solar site for the duration of the growing season (May-October).
Work sites are located near the towns of: Edgerton and Lone Rock - 1 position available Jefferson - 1 position available Wisconsin Rapids - 2 positions available
The position is full-time seasonal between approximately May 1st – October 31st 2023. Highly qualified and interested individuals may be eligible for year-round employment. All work occurs first-shift Monday through Friday and generally totals 35-45 hours per week, but exact hours may be influenced by weather conditions. Site Leaders may have some flexibility in setting their own work schedules.
Utility Solar - Vegetation Management Specialist
Quercus Land Stewardship Services The Solar Vegetation Management Specialist will be responsible for working alongside and in support of Solar Vegetation Management Site Leaders to complete work at solar fields and/or other energy company properties. Each Specialist will be assigned to either utility-scale (large) or community-scale (small) sites for the duration of the position (May-September).
Sites are located near the towns of:

Power Delivery Renewables Leader
HDR Engineering Responsible for establishing and maintaining the primary regional renewable power delivery relationships with strategic clients, including marketing support for new opportunities, overseeing execution of projects, driving quality and delivery for that client, technical leadership, and profitability to achieve business objectives.
Responsible for Project Management and oversight of renewable substation projects of variable sizes and complexity, including scope and/or proposal development, project team development and assignment, project execution, project closeout, and quality control, schedule, and budget management.
Should understand basic project management tools and techniques including client goals and objectives, contract types and project risk, work breakdown structures, project scope, schedule, and budget, financial management and controls, including earned value, and project closeout.
Drive efforts to develop and maintain standards for design of renewable energy interconnection facilities to be code compliant, cost effective, safe and constructible standards.
Supervise a multi-disciplinary substation team that may reside in multiple office locations and provide oversight over workload, quality, utilization, team morale, training, and performing annual performance reviews of team members.

Works independently and may direct, mentor, train, EIT’s, CADD/Designers, and administrative staff.
Works independently on: electrical clearance calculations, lighting photometric calculations, electrical load calculations, short circuit, overcurrent coordination and arc flash studies.
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
5+ years of experience in distribution planning, distribution modeling, distribution coordination, distribution line design is required.
Experience using PLS-CADD and other design software preferred

Alliant Energy I am currently recruiting for a Renewable Network Specialist for my team to be based out of Madison, WI. This position is responsible for supporting the SCADA systems at Renewable Generation facilities throughout Wisconsin. Support includes the design, implementation, and commissioning of systems at new facilities, ongoing operational support, and replacements/retrofits of existing facilities. The Renewable Network Specialist on SCADA Engineer/Specialist would focus primarily on Alliant Energy Solar, Wind, and Battery facilities, but may also provide support at times in Hydro Generation and other types of Generation facilities.
I am seeking candidates with strong IT and/or SCADA backgrounds with a passion for Solar power in Wisconsin; this position's primary focus will be on the deployment and support of utility-scale transmission-connected solar facilities being constructed by Alliant Energy in the state of Wisconsin.
