Manage and participate in the recruitment, screening, selection, and orientation of potential employees for various departments or job assignments. • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings in order to achieve the most success at the previously mentioned tasks. • Develop and implement Human Resource hiring strategies and initiatives aligned to complement and facilitate the overall business strategy. • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. • Maintain company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. • Perform the routine tasks required to administer and execute hiring/employee programs, including compensation recommendations, disciplinary matters, employee performance, employee recognition, and training. Requirements • Associates degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent years of experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, interviewing processes, and candidate evaluation in the construction industry • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability. • Ability to prioritize tasks. • Ability to act with a high degree of self-motivation and integrity. • Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal employment-related laws and regulations.
