Full Time Salary Range: $76,101.00 - $110,346.00 Exempt
General Statement Of Duties:
Develops educational material and curriculum utilizing current educational practices to present and facilitate educational programs for Colorado Judicial Branch employees.

Distinguishing Factors:
The Education Specialist classification is distinguished from the Training Administrator classification by the stronger emphasis on training and facilitating courses. The Education Specialist will not have responsibility for policy development for the unit.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
This position is in the Division of Probation Services (DPS) and will primarily serve Probation staff across the, soon to be, 23 Judicial Districts and 70 Probation offices throughout Colorado. The position includes administrative, instructional design, and learning facilitation responsibilities. Other responsibilities may include committee work, technical assistance, and general support for district staff and outside facilitators.

The Division of Probation Services (DPS) office is located in Denver at the Ralph Carr Judicial Center. Some job responsibilities will require work in the office and in the judicial districts throughout the state. The DPS operates from a flexible workplace arrangement policy where both remote and in-person work are utilized on an individual basis.

At least five years’ progressive HR experience within a public sector organization, in benefits administration, recruitment, training, and/or employee relations, including at least 2 years of management experience required. SHRM/HRCI Professional or Senior Certification required. Master’s degree or other higher education or related training desired.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,986.40-$4,484.40 ($103,651.00-116,608.00)/bi-weekly DOQ and a sign-on bonus program is available! Summit County Government offers an excellent benefit package.
