The Richmond District is seeking an experienced professional to provide leadership and resource coordination of traffic engineering studies and analyses, plan reviews, develop and review signing and marking plans, and review guardrails. The selected candidate will oversee a team and influence the timely application of improved traffic safety and government agencies and the general public. Serve as the Area Manager in charge of traffic engineering studies and analyses; direct manpower and establish priorities for related programs; and prepare/approve final reports and documents. The Traffic Supervisor will evaluate issues and apply appropriate countermeasures to solve complex problems; utilize transportation engineering business related software packages; research new technologies, software and devices; and participate in group assignments for planning and implementation of related initiatives and issues.
