Intern - Cyber Data Science
Anvilogic Anvilogic, a series C cybersecurity startup that works with some of the world's largest companies, is looking for creative and motivated student interns to help us empower the Se... curity Operations Center to find and remediate threats faster. We enable customers to run detections and alerts across various data lakes and domains. To find threats, analysts have to comb through weak signals such as rundll32 invocations to unearth potential malicious activity. This is laborious and tedious work that contributes to the phenomenon of alert fatigue, which can lead to costly mistakes. The advent of large language models, however, presents an opportunity to leverage the capabilities of these models to perform these mundane tasks and present analysts with their findings.
This internship will continue building on our successes using generative AI to make the SOC more effective and efficient. You will be assigned investigative tasks and determine if it can be satisfactorily performed by an LLM using prompt engineering, RAG or fine tuning. You will present your results to the team using Jupyter notebooks and based on the outcome, help the team productionize your findings. We expect 10-20 hours of work per week. You will be provided access to cloud resources and threat intel sources.
