PhD and Postdoc positions on Process Mining for the Internet of Production Cluster of Excellence @ RWTH
RWTH Aachen University The Internet of Production (IoP) is a so-called Cluster-of-Excellence at RWTH. This is one of the top research centers in Germany. The concept of a digital shadow and techniques such as process mining are at the core of IoP. The goal is to create digital twins of production processes using event data.
The Process and Data Science (PADS) group is one of the core groups in IoP and is looking for both a PhD and Postdoc to conduct process-mining research in this unique setting. The PADS group is the largest research group in the field of process mining allowing you to work in a team with many colleagues working on related topics. Also, the conditions and salaries are excellent following the federal wage agreement.

You will be embedded in the Information Systems group in the department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences. In that way you will, of course, directly collaborate with experts in areas such as business intelligence, business process intelligence, business process engineering, or business model and service systems engineering for digital services, but also with people from other disciplines in the department and the university as a whole. You will also benefit from our extensive international network of partner universities, research groups, and company contacts, with whom you will engage in joint research projects.
