How you can make an impact: The senior environmental professional will wear several hats, including Project Management responsibility, growing the ES Practice, and serving as a Seller-Doer.
As our Environmental Services Practice Leader you will contribute to our growth by: -Developing new and existing clients -Integrating with other ES staff across the company -Managing and being responsible for Profit/Loss of the business unit ES practice -Seeking profitable ways to increase ES staff across the business unit
As a Seller you will contribute to our growth by: -Playing a leading role in new client acquisition -Collaborating with us as we develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients success -Drafting and reviewing proposals -Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients
As a Doer you will work with a team of professionals, including SCS national experts in various fields, to assist our clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges to include: -Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting -Hydrogeologic Investigations -Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments -Soil and Groundwater Remediation -Brownfield Redevelopment -Environmental Compliance -Liquids Management Issues -Air Permitting and Compliance Reporting

LCSWMA Job Summary: The Recycling Manager plans, administers, and evaluates LCSWMA’s Recycling Program as described in the Lancaster County Municipal Waste Management Plan. Recycling ... management includes understanding local, national, and global recycling markets and the impact on Lancaster County’s programs, providing technical assistance to local municipalities, marketing recyclable commodities managed by LCSWMA, research and data management, grant preparation and administration, and general promotion of the program within the community.
Requirements Education, Training, Certification or Experience: Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, business, or related field, with 1-4 years of experience in similar position or related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Ability to acquire and/or maintain 30-hour Professional Recycling Officials of Pennsylvania (PROP) Certified Recycling Professional (CRP) Certification. Strong familiarity with recycling commodity markets. Strong familiarity with Pennsylvania State and Federal recycling laws.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies: Solid business acumen. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly proficient in MS Suite. Excellent math, reading, and writing comprehension. Highly proficient with technology: computers, smart devices, other office equipment. Detail-oriented. Good organizational and time management skills. Personable and customer-service centric.

Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of experience with landfills/solid waste industry • 3+ years working at an environmental consulting firm preferred • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering • Business development experience preferred • Professional registration preferred (E.I.T., P.E., P.G., etc.) • Valid drivers license with no DUI’s • Must be eligible to be legally employed in the U.S. • Previous management and/or scheduling experience preferred • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check
