The Community Engagement Specialist conducts a wide range of in-person activities and offers childcare consumer education and engagement services. Topics may include locating and evaluating child care, accessing and/or applying for financial assistance, health and social service programs, child care regulatory, complaint, and inspection information, expulsion/suspension prevention policies and resources, average cost of care, supply and demand, community resources, parent education, child development, as well as, resources identified as needed and/or requested by the consumer. This position will also recruit and provide a resources, supports, and services to licensed, certified and/or CCR&R registered providers in their service deliver area (SDA) and statewide as needed.
