Women's Environment & Development Organization (WEDO) The Gender and Environment Data Alliance (GEDA) is a new initiative to improve availability, accessibility, understanding, and application of quality and robust data and information at the gender and environment nexus. Co-convened by the Women's Environment and Development Organisation (WEDO) and IUCN on behalf of 17 founding members, GEDA seeks to compile and amplify existing gender data and research and to identify gaps. GEDA's ultimate aim is to advance gender-just climate and environmental action by catalyzing and scaling the analysis and use of gender-disaggregated data and intersectional analysis. GEDA is hiring a Technical Guidance and Data Mapping consultant, for part-time, remote work from August-December 2022 (or thereabouts). At the department of "Practical Philosophy", Manon Garcia researches at the intersection of moral philosophy, political philosophy and philosophy of law, with a specific focus on feminist philosophy. Her research area also includes, among others, philosophy of sex, contemporary moral and political analytic philosophy, and history of moral and political philosophy (especially, but not only, political existentialism).
