Women's Environment & Development Organization (WEDO)
The Gender and Environment Data Alliance (GEDA) is a new initiative to improve availability, accessibility, understanding, and application of quality and robust data and information at the gender and environment nexus. Co-convened by the Women's Environment and Development Organisation (WEDO) and IUCN on behalf of 17 founding members, GEDA seeks to compile and amplify existing gender data and research and to identify gaps. GEDA's ultimate aim is to advance gender-just climate and environmental action by catalyzing and scaling the analysis and use of gender-disaggregated data and intersectional analysis.

At the department of "Practical Philosophy", Manon Garcia researches at the intersection of moral philosophy, political philosophy and philosophy of law, with a specific focus on feminist philosophy. Her research area also includes, among others, philosophy of sex, contemporary moral and political analytic philosophy, and history of moral and political philosophy (especially, but not only, political existentialism).
Job description:
- The activity serves the own scientific qualification.
- Development and implementation of an own doctoral project (dissertation) that fits the profile of the junior professorship
- Conducting one course per semester in the field of practical philosophy
- Support of the activities of the junior professorship in research and teaching as well as participation in organizational and administrative tasks
