Child Development Associates Description
Basic Function: Provide direct support to licensed child care providers enrolled in the USDA Child Care Food Program for Family Day Care Homes.
Minimum ... Qualifications: High school diploma; bilingual Spanish or Arabic a plus; training and/or experience that demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above; must be able to adhere to company and regulatory procedures; experience as a licensed child care provider preferred; USDA Child Care Food Program guidelines; proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook preferred; must be able to prioritize, pay attention to detail in examining claims, processing changes accurately and according to established procedures; calculate mathematical equations accurately; ability to read and interpret documents such as rules and regulations, operating, safety and procedure manuals; ability to maintain composure, work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines with minimum supervision.
Understand and respect diversity in the workplace/community, showing consideration by communicating tactfully and sensitively at all times; maintain professional relationships with child care providers avoiding conflicts of interest, and reporting when a relationship is established in order to take appropriate steps for removing what could become a conflict of interest.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build strong and positive relationships/partnerships, establish rapport and credibility at all levels; maintain confidentiality and sensitive information private; ability to work effectively as part of a team to implement overall program policies.
