Oklahoma State University Medical Center Under the general supervision of the Radiology Manager and lead Mammography Physician performs clinical functions appropriate to their designated area. Acts as a resource person t... o hospital and medical personnel in their area of expertise during the shift to which they are assigned. The individual assists in the effective operation of the department through teamwork, customer services/satisfaction, quality assurance, adherence to legal and financial regulations, providing feedback to the Clinical Coordinator on a routine basis.
The person holding this position will be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, and must be able to operate all routine radiographic equipment. Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
The incumbent must be able to produce high quality radiographs and guide others in their production. Must be able to communicate with physicians, patients, families, and ancillary hospital personnel, and respond appropriately to their needs and concerns. Responsible for the direct oversight of clinical staff and the learning and activities of radiology students assigned to their team/shift. Will participate in performance improvement initiatives. Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the department. This position requires 24 hour mandatory On-Call, requiring a return time of 30 minutes to the hospital. This job comes with a $15k sign-on bonus and the opportunity for growth into higher leadership as our program grows.
