The Submarine Maneuvering and Control Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in West Bethesda, MD (20min from Washington DC) is responsible for all aspects of maneuvering and control of submarines - naval architecture, hydrodynamics, modeling and simulation, automatic ship control systems, model design/fabrication/testing, and full scale performance trials.
