Director, Institutional Effectiveness
Dickinson College
The Institutional Effectiveness Office serves the entire Dickinson community and is the central locale for collecting, coordinating, and analyzing data about and for the college. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership and administrative oversight for research activities according to institutional priorities and mission. The Director works closely with colleagues across the college to conduct survey research, assist with assessment efforts, develop benchmarks, and analyze data using appropriate statistical methods. The Director is responsible for the compilation, analysis, and dissemination of data through high-quality written and oral reports concerning the performance of the College in all operational areas. Institutional Research Assistant (Title III Strengthening Institutions Federal Grant)
Neumann University
Neumann University is seeking a qualified Institutional Research Assistant who reports to the Director of Institutional Research & Assessment (in support of the Title III Project Coordinator). The position is part-time (20 hours per week) and grant funded through 2023. The position supports the Director in the implementation of a comprehensive research plan to document the success rates of student support initiatives; administers survey instruments to assess the goals and objectives of the Title III Grant; and organizes a quarterly report of the research findings for the Title III Project Coordinator and external evaluator. Responsibilities include: maintain a longitudinal electronic file to track the progress of the participating students; administer Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) every other spring term; administer all Title III testing and surveys; complete all required Title III reports in a timely fashion; gather, analyze and report data; assist with the completion of quarterly research reports and the impact study in year 5 of the grant. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree; minimum of two years of relevant experience preferably in higher education; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access); ability to work with sensitive and confidential material; demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy is required; ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and proficiency; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must possess an appreciation for and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan Mission of the University. Institutional Research Analyst

The Institutional Research Analyst is responsible for gathering data, preparing reports, analyzing data and statistics, and managing institutional data and technologies in support of institutional research, planning, and evaluation activities. The analyst will coordinate all aspects of external data reporting, including preparing datafiles for analysis, collecting data from administrative offices, and ensuring data accuracy.
