Primary position expectations include the ability to:

Minimum Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geotechnical, Geomechanics, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geophysics, or a related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Mining Engineer, Civil Engineer, Rock Mechanics Engineer, Geomechanics Engineer, or in a related position.
- Proficiency with advanced numerical modeling, with a minimum of two (2) years experience.
- Field experience and familiarity with Itasca software preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

•15 years of relevant post-graduate experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Mining Engineer, Rock Mechanics Engineer, Geomechanics Engineer, or related position
•Experience with advanced numerical modeling
•Practical mining operations experience preferred
•Excellent English oral and written communications; other language skills are a plus
•Must be authorized to work in the United States. Itasca may be willing to facilitate work visa requirements under certain circumstances.
This is a full-time position. The position is based in Minneapolis and will require much work to be completed on-site but with unparalleled flexibility.

- Good/Advanced programming skills in Matlab/Python. LabView and C++ are a bonus.

Postdoctoral Fellow Position

The Geomechanics Laboratory at Missouri University of Science and Technology is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the area of Rock Mechanics.
Our main focus areas are field and laboratory characterization of geomaterials and rock masses,

The expected start date for the appointment is August 1, 2023. Minimum Qualifications:
