Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing:

Educational Service Unit 16 is in search of a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing to provide services to birth to 21-year-old students in West-Central Nebraska. ESU 16 currently employs one TODHH, and is looking to expand these services to meet the needs of students in ESU 15 and ESU 17 areas as well serving our ESU 16 area.

Minimum requirements include degree or endorsement in Deaf Education, and/or working towards obtaining a degree or endorsement in Deaf Education, and an active Nebraska teaching certificate or provisional teaching certificate.

ESU 16 teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing are contracted to work 185 days throughout the school year. Applicants seeking part-time employment are also encouraged to apply. ESU 16 offers a competitive salary and an employee/family benefits package. This application is open until March 15, 2022.
