We currently have an opening for a LiDAR & 3D Modeling Specialist / Land Survey CAD Technician who will assist the Survey Project Managers with a variety of LiDAR & 3D Modeling duties and survey drafting. Duties will include static and UAS derived LiDAR data collection in both interior and exterior environments, assisting with setting conventional survey control for static and UAS derived LiDAR data collection efforts, processing of static LiDAR data sets, including point cloud registration, QA/QC checks to survey control, and general preparation for data extraction and UAS derived imagery to orthophotography, including QA/QC checks to survey control and general preparation for data extraction.

Responsibilities will include: • Working with engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and clients. • Provide full or part-time construction observation services on water and wastewater facilities projects to ensure the project is constructed to the plans and specifications. • Observe and document installation of materials throughout the course of the project. • Preparation of daily and weekly reports to document progress and communicate to clients and project managers. • Construction administration including reviewing contractor schedules and pay requests, coordination of contractor questions, submittal review and coordination, and preparing change orders. • Manage and establish work priorities daily for multiple projects. • Attending client and construction meetings. • Willing to work throughout Wisconsin as needed, but generally within 50 miles of the Madison office.
