YHDP System Navigator

JOB SUMMARY
System navigators will allow the CoC to provide a single point of contact within each of the YHDP participating locations for youth and young adults to help navigate complex systems in addition to identifying housing needs. Systems include but are not limited to education (schools, higher education, technical colleges), workforce development (job training, apprenticeship programs, job search), health care including mental health & addiction services, economic support (food stamps & childcare support), law enforcement, juvenile justice, child welfare, and the homeless service systems.
The target population is youth and young adults experiencing homelessness within the coalition. The System Navigators main goal is to build relationships with youth and establish or enhance collaboration with community partners. Navigators will also support and facilitate the local youth action group to ensure that authentic youth voice continues to inform project design and become integrated into decision-making within the local coalition. Navigators will work with the CoC staff to recruit youth to join, identify additional leadership opportunities, and facilitate training and discussion around the unique needs and barriers experienced by youth in the community. Navigators do not have to be under the age of 25, although preference shall be given to those with lived youth homelessness experience. Services will include assessing service needs, case management, outreach, some transportation support when needed along with referrals to resources within the community; identification of barriers and inconsistencies within the system; and advocating for change at the local and CoC level with support from the CoC staff.

Safety Manager

Main Responsibilities: Safety Manager is accountable and responsible for overseeing the current company safety and compliance programs. These programs include, but are not limited to:

Adhering to all government regulations,
Meeting/administering all company and personnel training requirements,
Managing and following through on all safety related issues,
Identifying and leading teams to mitigate high risk activities on projects, and
Ensuring all Commonwealth developments and construction projects are executed with safety management excellence.

Project Manager
M+A (Architectural Design)
Main Responsibilities: The Project Manager will lead the design team in the production of high-quality architectural plans and specifications. This person will work with the internal development client to understand the desired outcomes of the project and ensure they are executed by the team.

Main Office Location: Either Fond du Lac or Middleton office with approx. 15% travel to job sites.

Flexible hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).

Experience with Multi-family and hospitality designs preferred.

Under  the supervision of the Bad River Housing  Authority Board of Commissioners, the Executive Director is responsible for the day‐to‐day operation and management of the Bad River Housing Authority. 

The Authority manages over 190 rental and homeownership properties and administers the construction and rehabilitation program for managed units and qualified private homes within the boundaries of the Bad River Reservation in NorthernWisconsin.  The Authority currently employs 17 full‐time employees. 

The ideal candidate will be a high‐caliber person  with experience in Indian housing regulations and operations, housing construction, budget development, fiscal management, planning, and supervision of 15 or more employees for a minimum of five years in a responsible management position with a public agency or private organization. 

Familiarity with the social and economic issues relative to Indian housing as well as knowledge of the community and public organizations is also highly desirable.

Youth Outreach Case Manager

The Youth Case Manager will be integral in supporting community partners to meet the needs of youth and serve as a safe and supportive resource for youth who may not be present in the existing homeless crisis response system.
