Faculty Position, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist
Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry
Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time position in the Department of Oral Diagnostic Sciences and Research for the position of Oral and
Maxillofacial Radiology. The department strongly commits to continuing dental education and
collaboration with the School of Dentistry clinics and departments. We are seeking a board-
certified, or board-eligible, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist who is an outstanding clinician,
educator, scientist, and communicator.
Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching at postgraduate and undergraduate levels,
independent research, and service to the College. Working in collaboration with other faculty,
both in research and in teaching, is encouraged.
Qualifications include a DDS/DMD degree from an American or Canadian Dental School or its
equivalent and a specialty Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from a CODA-
approved postgraduate program. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and
commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and collegiality required. A record of scholarly
achievement and experience teaching and mentoring students is preferred. Rank and salary will
be determined by the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
Applicants must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Tennessee or be able to meet the
requirements for permanent/teaching licensure in Tennessee.

Oral Medicine Faculty Position, Assistant/Associate Professor

Indiana University School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time (1.0) FTE tenure track/tenured assistant/associate professor. Core expectations includes 1. In collaboration with other faculty and administration, lead and implement changes in the DDS predoctoral curriculum that foster deeper understanding and integration of the biomedical sciences as the foundation of clinical dentistry and oral medicine.3. Direct predoctoral dental course that emphasize understanding and application of biomedical sciences and clinical medicine in clinical oral healthcare. 3. Provide clinical instruction to allied dental and dental students and residents. 4. Conduct impactful research and scholarship supported by internal and external funding. 5. Actively participate in the faculty life if the department, school and university. If desired, there is opportunity to participate in a busy referral-based oral medicine faculty practice, as well as support for obtaining medical staff privileges in local hospitals. Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD degree and advanced training in Oral Medicine and currently be either a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine or be board-eligible. Additional clinical and research experience are strong preferences. The position will be heavily teaching focused but a level of research and service participation consistent with tenure expectations will also be required.

Dental Oncology Fellowship - Princess Margaret Cancer Centre
Princess Margaret Cancer Centre
The fellowship in dental oncology is a one-year program intended for a dentist interested in gaining further clinical and medical skills in managing patients with a cancer diagnosis, in particular those which impact the oral and maxillofacial complex. The fellowship year will involve rotations within the dental oncology department, including general dentistry, maxillofacial prosthetics, oral pathology/medicine and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
