We have a full time position available at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. Shift is 10:00-6:30pm so you totally miss traffic no matter where you live. You can live downtown Center City or in the suburbs like me. The position is non-exempt so hourly pay with overtime paid at 1.5x your rate.
No day is ever the same - small cases up to high complexity cases with frozens and tumor banking. We get about 15,000 cases a year and have 3 PAs and a gross tech, no autopsies, no weekends, no residents. Direct report is to me and Operations Managerđ Workload is totally manageable! Prefer experience but new grads are welcome to apply. We are located on the north edge of Philly about 30 mins from Center City, and parking is free.

We are looking for two candidates for this position who will serve the Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley Colorado areas. You will be part of the PA team that works the full-time shift of Monday to Friday day shift hours with the expectation of participating in rotating evening and Sunday shifts. Join our team of two ASCP Certified Pathologists' Assistants and one Grossing Tech at a community hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Pathology Department at Penrose St. Francis Health includes a core AP laboratory for the Common Spirit System in Colorado and Kansas and serves multiple area hospitals. Penrose St. Francis also has a pathology residency program with eight residents. Our department currently has more than 40,000 surgical pathology cases per year.
Responsibilities include macroscopic examination and description of a variety of simple to complex surgical specimens including OB-GYN, breast, GI, GU, thoracic and general surgery specimen types. Duties also include assistance with intraoperative consultations as needed and instruction and oversight of pathology residents as needed. There are no autopsy responsibilities. We have a recently remodeled gross room with four MOPEC grossing stations and a window with a view! Our department uses the Epic Beaker LIS and Dragon for dictation.
In order to accommodate specimen arrival times, our gross room is most active between 9:30am and 7:00 pm M-F, and Saturday mornings. PAs work 5 days per week with rotating shifts shared equally by the PA team.
