Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

The successful applicant will teach within the academic subjects or disciplines, and will be responsible for successfully addressing established student learning outcomes in each course and section taught. Faculty teach courses at times, locations, and via modalities that best respond to student and departmental needs; conduct both teaching and research; be Scholarly Academic (SA) at all times as per AACSB standard; advise students and provide services to the university, and the community.

Duties and responsibilities: Teach assigned courses and successfully address established learning outcomes. Facilitate and inspire learning through proven and innovative teaching and academic support methodologies. Plan all lessons and assignments with a focus on student success. Develop and deliver course curricula and syllabi for each course section delivered, ensuring compliance with college and department standards. Assess students' progress and adjust instructional techniques, resources and assignments as appropriate. Remain up-to-date with developments in the discipline and best practices for teaching in the discipline by reading scholarly articles, talking with colleagues, participating in professional conferences, conducting appropriate classroom-based research designed to improve student learning outcomes, and/or publishing original research and analyses in in books and academic journals. Advise students on an individual basis about courses required for degree completion and how to achieve their short-term and long-term academic and career goals. Provide services both to the University and the community. Supervise work-study students and/or assistants, as appropriate. Participate in shared governance by serving on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies, deliberate budgets, advise on hiring and promotions within the department, and other college activities.

Tenure-Track Faculty in Business/MBA Program Director
Anderson University
Applications are being accepted for a full-time, tenure-track position in Business with administrative responsibilities for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. The Anderson University Falls School of Business invites applicants who are interested in joining an ACBSP accredited program that emphasizes excellence in teaching. Beginning in August 2022, the position will be filled by an energetic individual who will join a business school that includes 13 full-time faculty members who share a vision to develop leaders with Christian values and excellent business expertise.

The teaching load will include graduate level courses. Administrative and summer responsibilities include supporting MBA students, faculty, alumni and programs. Position is responsible for coordinating with marketing and admissions departments to support the program.

The Falls School of Business (FSB) is a vibrant and important part of the University. As a top-ranked business school, the FSB has grown to nearly 200 under-graduate students, 60 MBA students and over 50 doctoral students. The home of the FSB, Hardacre Hall, contains all business faculty offices, most business classes, hi-tech classrooms, and a financial trading room and digital media lab. The FSB has a promising growth vision for the future.
