Responsibilities will include: The standard teaching load is five courses per year, which can be reduced in recognition of negotiated duties toward the research and service missions of the Department. Responsibilities include teaching computer science undergraduate classes, interviewing and hiring recitation instructors and graders (typically senior undergraduate or Masters students), coordinating and supervising recitation sections, creating exams, homework, and programming assignments, possibly in collaboration with other instructors, coordinating and supervising grading, and curriculum development. Other duties, such as managing applied learning opportunities such as internships, are also possible depending on experience.
