We are currently looking for a Proposal Manager to manage the development and submission of proposals for our Midwest region, and for other regions around the U.S. as needed. Reporting to the Director of Proposals, this position will be based in our Nashville office and will be a member of the company’s corporate marketing team.

Consultant/1099 Proposal Manager and Writer
Ideas at Dawn, LLC Join the Ideas at Dawn team in providing marketing, proposal, and social media services to large civil engineering and construction companies. We provide full-service services to these firms so they can bid and win more work without having to add on more payroll. As a consultant proposal manager on the team, you will manage and coordinate the proposal from start to finish, ensuring it is in full compliance with bid requirements and the estimate. The proposal manager is responsible for ensuring the submittal is compliant with the requirements, compelling, and comprehensive. Specific responsibilities include: • Develop and execute the proposal process from when the client engages our need or needs our services. • Facilitate the communication between all team members, including the client and their partners, designers, sub-consultants, and subcontractors. • Develop and manage the proposal schedule and responsibility matrix. • Lead and organize all proposal meetings including the proposal kick-off meeting with direction from the client on the frequency. • Develop writing guidelines (style guide) and golden threads. • Lead reviews including using Adobe Acrobat. • Coordinate graphic creation and production with the graphic design team • Write and edit content for the proposal including sections like projects, resumes, approach • Interview SMEs to develop content for the proposal • Lead production and delivery to the client. • Complete proposal closeout with the client. • Serve as a representative of Ideas at Dawn in a client-facing role. • Assist with other duties based on availability.
