Tulane The Associate Director, Alumni Relations (Programmatic Initiatives) is a professional frontline advancement position reporting to the Senior Director of Alumni Relations. The position is responsible for the planning and execution of a broad portfolio of department-driven events on an annual basis, including management of major campus and regional events; design and implementation of event and communication strategies; and the qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of volunteers and other constituents where appropriate. The Associate Director will guide and oversee initiatives that create a robust program for the Tulane Alumni Association to advance engagement and philanthropy through alumni and constituent activity and engage alumni across a broad spectrum of interests. Through in-person and digital activities, this position will seek to engage new audiences, identify and cultivate leadership prospects, and educate constituents about the case for supporting Tulane University.
Tulane Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Senior Development Officer, Major Gifts, will be responsible for Tulane's major gift program in an assigned region, including the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individuals, with a focus on securing gift commitments in the range of $100,000 to $1,000,000. This position will work closely with colleagues across Advancement including school/unit major gifts officers, reunion class officers, and alumni relations staff, with the purpose of optimizing Tulane's short-term and long-term fundraising success in the region. The position will also work closely with other departments within the Office of Advancement including Gift Planning, Stewardship, Corporate & Foundation Relations, Alumni Development Information Services, and other university relations departments throughout the university.

The Gift Processing Specialist facilitates accurate data entry and timely donor communications at all stages of gift processing. As a liaison between the Development and Finance Departments, the Gift Processing Specialist will monitor and complete data entry for all incoming gifts, as well as acknowledge donations on a monthly basis. The duties of this role will also include regular communication with donors via mail, email, and phone. The Gift Processing Specialist reports to the Development Associate, in addition to working closely with members of both the Development and Finance teams to ensure accurate record keeping and strong donor relationships. The Gift Processing Specialist may work closely with at least one part-time intern to help achieve the goals of this position.
