In this role, The Director will cast vision for and lead a growing ministry that includes a modern 90 bed family shelter, and mobile shower street outreach program, and launching a new men’s Life Recovery Program with transitional living. We are a multisite organization, so you’ll have full support from our central offices in Oxnard for accounting, HR, direct mail and donation processing, as well as board governance, leaving you free to focusing on the needs and support of the local community.

With oversight from the Board of Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, the President will champion and direct how the mission and vision are carried out on a day-to-day basis. Serving as the overseer and catalyst for the Mission, the President will make strategic decisions, influence direction, and lead the expansion and quality of services for over a dozen sites in King County, where God is transforming the hearts of men and women who are leaving behind lifetimes of shame and addiction.

To determine needs for the after-care service, the specialist works with each person to develop a personalized plan. Most services are field-based and require travel to and from the guest’s permanent home. The specialist also makes necessary referrals for community services that a former guest might need.
